Delwar vows to set free Khaleda thru' movement

Monday, 9 June 2008

BNP Secretary General Khandker Delwar Hosain Sunday vowed to set free party chairperson Khaleda Zia and form government of the mass people through launching relentless movement, reports UNB.

He called upon the party workers to get ready for any sacrifice to secure release of Khaleda and restoration of democracy in the country. "We shall secure her release and again form government of the people," he said.

Delwar was speaking to a group of diploma engineers supporting BNP who met him at his NAM residence late in the evening.

He said Khaleda would not leave the country in any adverse situation. But he wanted Khaleda's sons Tarique Rahman and Arafat Rahman Koko who are ailing under detention should be allowed to go abroad for treatment.

He said the socio-economic crises prevailing in the country has been created under a blue print. The 1/11 was a creation under the heinous plan to take the nation backward.

"The external force was involved in the plan against the country."

He expressed doubts that free and fair election would be held under the present caretaker government.

Delwar said the workers and leaders of BNP are totally behind Khaleda for realisation of the dreams of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.

He called for rocklike unity in the party to make the movement a success.
