Demra Madrasah badly damaged in wake of Sidr

Jamiat’u Ibrahim Madrasah at Dogair under Demra police station in the city was heavily damaged in the wake of cyclone Sidr that had wreaked havoc on the southern part of the country a fortnight ago.
The madrasah dormitory including books and other belongings of the students had been destroyed in the cyclonic storm.
Principal Mufti Shafiqul Islam said that the amount of total damage would be around Tk 1.0 million. He called upon the people to donate generously to the madrasah fund to recover the damage.
