Dengue: 380 new cases reported

A total of 380 new dengue cases were reported in the 24 hours up to Monday morning, bringing the number of confirmed cases this year to 26,758.
The death toll remained unchanged at 105, as no fresh fatalities were recorded during this period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
DGHS data shows that the new cases were distributed as follows: 67 in Barishal division (outside city corporation areas), 70 in Chattogram division (outside CC), 66 in Dhaka division (outside CC), 31 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 74 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 25 in Khulna division (outside CC), seven in Mymensingh division, 34 in Rajshahi division, four in Rangpur division, and two in Sylhet division. Currently, 1,277 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
Last year, dengue claimed 575 lives.
No Covid-19 cases were reported during the latest 24-hour reporting cycle.
