Dengue situation improves in Tangail

TANGAIL, Sept 18: The overall dengue situation is improving in the district over the last few days.
Civil surgeon office, Tangail sources said dengue fever has infected five persons in the last twenty four hours. All of them are admitted to Tangail General Hospital.
About 25 patients are taking treatment across the district. Among them 23 patients are admitted to Tangail General Hospital, one Modhupur upazila and another one at Ghatail upazila health complex, source added.
A total of 696 people have already been affected with the fever in the district. Of them, 671 have gone back to home after cure and 25 were till under treatment, sources said.
