Denim Expo in Dhaka in November

Denim Expert Limited plans to organize an international Denim Trade Show in Bangladesh in November to popularise the brand in international denim industry. Organizers of the expo revealed the decision at a press briefing held at a hotel in the city on Saturday. Addressing the press meet, the speakers said they would be organising an ‘Invite Only’ event to make Bangladesh as ‘One Stop Sourcing Platform’ for denim industry. The organisers are expecting a high turnout of apparel entrepreneurs, businessmen, fashion professionals and stakeholders of the industry from Europe, US, UK and several Asian countries.  The Expo will be held at Hotel Radisson Blue Water Garden in Dhaka on November 11 -12, 2014. Chief initiator of the expo and Managing Director of the organization Mostafiz Uddin said, “Our primary purpose is to create a platform for Denim Stakeholders with which all will be benefitted”. He also termed the initiative as a not-profitable one. “We expect Denim goods from Bangladesh will yield greater brand value in the global market from this initiative”.  Plenary sessions and seminars will also be held on Trends of Denim Goods and Washing during the expo. Representatives from participating organizations and institutions will be participating in the programmes. The Expo will enrich Bangladesh’s denim industry, by generating huge quantity of export order from UK, German, Spain, Holland, Italy, France and USA expected expo initiators, said a statement.
