FE Report | Monday, 15 October 2018
A two-day 'Bangladesh Denim Expo' will kick off in the capital on November 07, focusing on 'simplicity' in the supply chain.
The ninth edition of the show will take place at the International Convention City Bashundhara.
A total of 62 exhibitors from across the globe will join the event which is expected to attract the highest number of visitors, especially from the international arena, according to a statement issued by the organisers on Sunday.
The theme of this edition-'Simplicity'-is aimed at promoting a much simpler and much easier definition to understand sustainability and ecology in denim.
The expo will focus on how to make things simpler to understand demand of buyers, how to prepare for and negotiate them, and how the denim industry of Bangladesh can profit from more simplicity.
During the two-day event, three panel discussions on 'Simplicity from designers to consumers - the collaboration', 'Simplicity and standardisation in the apparel industry', and 'Simplicity in production - innovation, technology and optimised handling of resources' will be held.
