Dense fog paralyses river-routes for hours

Dense fog Saturday stranded launches and steamers on different river routes of the country for seven to nine hours. The suffering of their passengers from cold breeze blowing through the river was compounded by hunger. Many passengers were seen looking desperately for food and drink.
