Deposition in corruption case against CCC mayor begins

CHITTAGONG, Oct 30 (UNB): Deposition in a corruption case against Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury began at the Divisional Special Judge's court here Thursday.
The plaintiff of the case and also a deputy director of Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) AKM Amirul Islam gave his statement before the court.
The defunct Anti-corruption Bureau had filed the case against three persons including Mohiuddin in 2002 for embezzling Tk 1.12 million in hiring garbage-carrying trucks.
