Depot owners fined for keeping rotten fishes in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, July 9 (UNB): A mobile court fined the owners of a fish depot Tk 10,000 for keeping rotten fish in their depot at Haji
Shariatullah Bazar, on the outskirts of the town, Monday morning.
The court, led by Magistrate SM Tariqul Islam, seized two maunds of rotten fish from 'Tin Bhai' depot. Failing to arrest its owners, the team seized a motorcycle from the spot.
They also filed a case against the depot owners Rabindranath Das and Shyamol Kumar Das.
Later, the rotten fishes were burnt to ashes in front of local people.
