Depression causing rain

A depression in the Bay of Bengal is causing rain in much of Bangladesh including Dhaka on Sunday. The Met Office has advised raising Cautionary Signal No 3 for the maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra. Weather forecast says rains might continue for at least the next two days. Light to moderate rain accompanied by gusty winds is occurring in areas under Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Heavy rainfall is expected in Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions. The Met office has recorded three-millimetre rains from 6am to 9am on Sunday. On Saturday, 18-millimetre rain was recorded in Dhaka, according to bdnews24.com.
