Wednesday, 8 October 2014

The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted distant cautionary signal no 2 as the deep depression formed over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining area moved west-northwestwards and intensified into cyclonic storm ‘HUDHUD’ and now lies over Southeast bay and north Andaman Sea. It is likely to intensify further and move in a west-northwesterly direction, said a Met office special weather bulletin, according to a news agency.
