Deputy speaker for proper evaluation of FFs

Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Shaukat Ali said Friday that development of the country is not possible without proper evaluation of the freedom fighters (FFs), reports BSS.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the biennial conference of the Bangladesh Freedom Fighter Naval Commando Association at the Naval Headquarters multipurpose hall in the city, said an official release.
The deputy speaker said the naval commandos occupied a special position in the history of liberation war, but they were not evaluated properly.
He called for proper evaluation of the freedom fighter naval commandos.
All would have to put in their best efforts to build a 'Sonar Bangla,' he said.
Presided over by Prime Minister's Adviser and Bangladesh Freedom Fighter Naval Commando Association President Dr Alauddin, the function was also addressed by the Navy Chief, Vice Admiral Zahir Uddin Ahmed, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Central Command Council Chairman Maj Gen (Retd) Helal Morshed Khan and Freedom Fighter Naval Commando Bidhan Chandra Biswas.
