Derailment disrupts train services on Comilla-Noakhali route

Train services on the Comilla-Noakhali route was suspended as a bogie of a passenger train veered off the track near Laksam railway station on Saturday evening. Laksam railway station master Didarul Alam said five wheels of a  bogie of the Noakhali-bound ’Samatat Express’ veered off the track at the entry point of the Laksam-Noakhali route at Laksham junction around 7:30pm, halting train movement on the route. No one was inured in the incident, according to a news agency.
