Derailment halts train services of Dhaka with Sylhet, Ctg

Train services of Dhaka with Sylhet, Chittagong and Kishoreganj remained suspended as two bogies of a freight train derailed at the outer-signal of Bhairab Railway Station in Bhairab upazila on Tuesday. Officer-in-charge of Bhairab GRP Station Saiful Islam said the two bogies of a Chittagong-bound freight train from Dhaka went off the track at the outer-signal of the station around 1:45 pm. On information, a relief train from Akhaura started for the spot to salvage the derailed bogies. The train services on the route remained halted till filing of the report around 3:45pm, according to a news agency.
