Desperate mother kills daughter’ss teaser

JESSORE, Mar 13: A desperate mother allegedly killed her daughter's teaser at Bhekutia under Kotwali police station in Jessore Wednesday night.
The dead was identified as Mofizur Rahman, 40, an inhabitant of a nearby village under Jessore sadar upazila and the son of one Moslem Ali of the area.
Emdadul Haque Sheikh, officer in-charge, Kotwali police station told newsmen that the woman was arrested by the police in connection with the killing. The dead used to tease one of the daughters of Khadiza Begum now and then for which Khadiza sent her daughter to Dhaka. She also lodged a general diary with the Kotwali police station in this connection. Mofiz somehow allegedly, pressed Khadiza to bring back her daughter for which Khadiza killed him with a sharp weapon after pouring pepper in his eyes at her residence.
Khadiza told journalists that she killed Mofiz with a sharp weapon for household uses after pouring pepper powder in his eyes as he came in her residence to kidnap her daughter. "I lodged complaint with the local UP member and also filed a general diary with Kotwali police station," but in vain.
