Detained DU teachers testifying before commission

Two detained Dhaka University teachers and a Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal leader started testifying before the judicial inquiry commission at the Circuit House at 11am Monday. Prof Harunur Rashid, dean of social science faculty of Dhaka University, was the first to testify. He was to be followed by Prof Nimchandra Bhoumik, teacher of applied physics and electronics department, and president of JCD Azizul Bari Helal. They were driven from Dhaka Central Jail in a prison van to the commission headquarters around 10:30am.
