Detectives arrest 'JMB man' in C'nawabganj

CHAPAINABABGANJ, Feb 24 (UNB): A team of the Detective Branch of police in a drive detained an alleged member of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with 500 grams of gunpowder from a secret meeting of the banned militant outfit at Barghoria Sluicegate in the district Sadar early Saturday.
The accused was identified as Mostafa Kamal, son of Yasin Ali, a resident of Charmohanpur area of the municipality.
