Deteriorating law and order

With each passing day the law and order is sinking to a new low  and it is indeed frightening. The ruling party's 'careless' attitude is worsening the situation. Had it happened in any true democratic country, many would have submitted their resignations. But in our country we do not see anyone even accepting responsibility for worsening law and order. Insecurity is prevailing everywhere and it is not good for our economy.
Despite winning a controversial election the ruling party is clinging to power and perpetuate it, but such power hungry attitude does not bring any good to anyone. The ruling party has many seasoned leaders who understand the ground reality and I hope they will break their silence and instil some sense in the top leaders so that they can bring back the lost confidence in the common people. We must not forget that democracy will die if the participation of the common people is not ensured.
