DFP alerts all to false media list

The Department of Films and Publications (DFP) in a statement on Wednesday alerted all concerned to a false media list making its rounds in the social media.
The media list, according to the DFP, contains false information about the circulation and advertisement rate of a newspaper.
The DFP, as per guidelines of the government, updates its media list regularly and publishes it on its website (www.dfp.gov.bd), the statement said.
It does not post any such list on any other online site or in the social media, it added.
The DFP is taking action against dissemination of the false media list in the social media.
