Dhaka Abahani beat Ctg Abahani

In a battle of two Abahanis, Dhaka Abahani Ltd beat Chittagong Abahani Ltd by 2-0 goals in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
After the day's feat, Dhaka Abahani maintained their unbeaten run in the league securing seven points from three encounters while Chittagong Abahani are yet to open the account, also playing three matches.
In previous two matches, Dhaka Abahani drew 2-2 with Rahmatganj MFS and outplayed Feni Soccer Cub by 4-0 goals while Chittagong Abahani lost to Dhaka Mohammedan 0-5 and lost to Muktijoddha Sangshad KC by 1-2 goals.
After a barren first half in the day's match, Hungarian forward Szablocs Csorba opened account for Dhaka Abahani in the 73rd minute by a placing shot after beating opponent custodian Mohammad Ershand, off a through pass from medio Shakil Ahmed (1-0).
Another Hungarian Gabor Demjen doubled the Dhaka Abahani lead in the 79th minute from a penalty.
Guinean defender of Chittagong Abahani Camara Mamado brought down Dhaka Abahani forward Csorba in the danger zone and referee blew whistle for a spot kick. Gabor did no mistake to convert a penalty (2-0).
