Dhaka Abahani takes solo lead beating Khulna Abahani KC 5-1

Dhaka Abahani Limited again took a solo lead in style in the first-ever Professional Football League, named B League, outplaying Khulna Abahani KC by 5-1 goals at Khulna Stadium Sunday, reports UNB.
It was a sweet revenge for the popular sky-blue Dhanmondi outfit Dhaka Abahani for their 1-2 goal lone defeat against Khulna Abahani KC in Dhaka on May 2.
With the day's feat, Dhaka Abahani Limited topped league table securing 38 points from 17 matches while Khulna Abahani KC remained at their previous credit of 12 points, playing 17 matches. Dhaka Mohammedan SC followed the league leaders with 35 points from 17 matches.
In the day's match, Awudu Ibrahim struck twice, Abdullah Parvez, Shahajuddin Tipu and Zahid Hossain Emily scored one each for the Dhaka Abahani, which dominated the first half by a solitary goal.
Tajul netted the consolation goal for the Khulna Abahani KC in the second half.
In the remaining three matches, Dhaka Abahani Limited will play Arambagh KS on July 20, Sheikh Russell KC on July 24 and Muktijoddha Sangsad KC on July 28.
