Dhaka Bank arranges Tk 1.374b syndicated loan for spinning mill

Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL) has arranged a syndicated loan of Tk 1.374 billion (137.4 crore) for Faisal Spinning Mills Limited (FSML).
An agreement to this effect was signed in the city recently. Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) President and DBL Founder Chairman Abdul Hai Sarker was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
DBL Managing Director (MD) Shahed Noman, National Credit and Commerce Bank Limited MD Md Nurul Amin, The City Bank Limited MD K Muhammed Sattar, Pubali Bank Limited MD Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Agrani Bank Ltd MD Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed and Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited DMD Muhammad Ali signed the agreement on behalf of their respective banks.
DBL is the lead arranger and agent bank of the syndication. FSML, the proposed project and a concern of Saiham Group, is a textile-spinning unit, comprising 30,960 ring spindles.
