Dhaka Bank arranges Tk 330m loan for Doreen Power House

Dhaka Bank arranged a syndicated term loan of Tk 330 million for setting up an 11-MW power plant at Mohipal in Feni implemented by Doreen Power House and Technologies Ltd.
The loan amount includes Tk 180 million long term financing from the 'investment promotion and financing facility (IPFF)' of Bangladesh Bank (BB) funded by IDA of World Bank.
A signing ceremony for execution of the 'Facility Access Agreement' amongst Bangladesh Bank, Dhaka Bank Ltd and Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited (IIDFC) was held at BB head office in the city recently, says a press release.
BB Executive Director Md Abul Quasem, Dhaka Bank Managing Director Khondker Fazle Rashid, IIDFC Managing Director Md Asaduzzaman Khan, Dhaka Bank Deputy Managing Director Tanweer Rahim, IIDFC Deputy Managing Director Proshanta Kumar Halder, BB Joint Director Chowdhury Md Feroz Bin Alam, Dhaka Bank FAVP and In-charge of SSF Unit Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, FAVP Azam Khan and other senior officials were present at the signing ceremony.
