Dhaka Bank holds EGM

The third extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Dhaka Bank Limited has decided to issue its First Subordinated Convertible Bond as Tier II Capital amounting to Tk 2.0 billion.
The EGM was held in the city Monday, said a press release. Chairman of the bank Khondoker Monir Uddin presided over the meeting.
The bank also proposed to increase its authorised capital from Tk 2650 million to Tk 6000 million subject to the approval by the Regulatory Board.
Among others, directors Abdul Hai Sarker, ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Altaf Hossain Sarker, Mohammad Hanif, Mohammad Amirullah, Tahidul Hossain Chowdhury and MNH Bulu and sponsor shareholders Reshadur Rahman, Khondoker Jamil Uddin and Aminul Islam and Managing Director Shahed Noman and Company Secretary Arham Masudul Huq were present at the EGM.
