Dhaka Bank holds half-yrly business review meeting

The 'Mid-year Business Review Meeting' for regional heads, cluster heads and branch managers of Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL) was held at a city hotel recently.
Dhaka Bank Chairman Altaf Hossain Sarker inaugurated the meeting while the bank's Managing Director Khondker Fazle Rashid presided over the meeting, said a press release.
The meeting reviewed the performance of the first six months of the current year with an eye to minimisation of cost of deposit and maximum recovery of loans with a view to achieving zero classification.
The participants of the meeting put special stress on collective effort to achieve the bank's target and expressed determination to achieve it in time.
Founder and former adviser of the bank Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, deputy managing directors Mohammad Abu Musa, and Tanweer Rahim and Kaiser Tamiz Amin, Executive Vice-president and Company Secretary Arham Masudul Huq, divisional heads and other senior executives of the bank were present on the occasion.
