DHAKA BANK SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH SHER-E-BANGLA AGRI UNIVERSITY

As part of Dhaka Bank's CSR programme, an agreement was signed and executed between Dhaka Bank PLC and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, under which seedlings of rice and other vegetable and fruit plants produced at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University will be distributed free of cost among 1,000 flood-affected farmers. These farmers will also be provided with fertilisers and pesticides. Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer, Dhaka Bank, and Sheikh Rezaul Karim, Registrar, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, signed the agreement recently. Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Latif, Vice-Chancellor, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, was present at the signing ceremony.
