Dhaka Bank signs participation agreement with BB under FICGS

Dhaka Bank PLC has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank under the Financial Inclusion Credit Guarantee Scheme (FICGS). The agreement aims to extend credit facilities to Tk 10/50/100 account holders, marginal and landless farmers, low-income professionals, school banking account holders, and small business owners who often face difficulties in accessing formal financing due to lack of adequate collateral. The agreement was signed by Muhammad Nazmul Haque, Director, Credit Guarantee Department (CGD) of Bangladesh Bank, and A K M Shahnawaj, Managing Director (CC) of Dhaka Bank PLC, at Bangladesh Bank, Motijheel, Dhaka.
