Dhaka beat Khulna by 5 wickets

Dhaka Division made a flying start in the First Women's Divisional Cricket League beating Khulna Division by five wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur Friday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, Khulna Division scored 162 runs for seven wickets in stipulated 35 overs with Rifat Ara contributing 50 (no).
Rumana Ahmed (27), Salma Khatun (23) and Shuktara Rahman (17) were the other notable scorers for Khulna Division.
Salma Akter captured three wickets for 16 runs while Soheli Sultana took two for 37.
In reply, Dhaka Division reached their target of 163 runs in 33.3 overs for the loss of five wickets.
Chameli Khatun (35), Ayesha Akhter (29) and Shamma Akter (27) were the notable contributors for Dhaka Division.
Salma Khatun took two wickets for 35 runs.
