Dhaka City AL calls for withdrawal of hartal

Dhaka City Awami League (AL) has called for withdrawal of Monday's half-day hartal called by the National Committee to Protect Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Ports.
The call was made at an extended meeting of Dhaka City AL held at its office at Bangabandhu Avenue, reports BSS.
Briefing journalists after the meeting, Acting General Secretary of Dhaka City AL Advocate Qamrul Islam said the meeting has taken a unanimous decision to hold the council of City AL between October 20 and 31.
