Train services of Dhaka with Chittagong, Feni and other eastern and south-eastern districts were restored on Friday morning after more than 7 hours of disruption following a train-bus collision at a level crossing at Fatehpur in Feni Sadar Upazila on Thursday. The rail communications in the important routes resumed around 6:00am after a salvage train rushed to the spot and removed the derailed compartments of the Chittagong-bound train that collided with a bus on Thursday night. However, no passenger of the bus was reportedly injured in the accident that happened around 10:30pm, according to private TV channels.
