Dhaka, Delhi discuss bilateral issues

Bangladesh and India on Thursday discussed the key bilateral issues between the two countries. Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and visiting Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj led the Bangladesh and Indian sides respectively in the bilateral talks held at the Foreign Ministry here in Dhaka. The meeting began at 10:05am and continued till 11:00am. Bangladesh and India will separately brief the media in the afternoon on the outcome of the meeting. Swaraj will meet President Abdul Hamid at Bangabahban at 6:00pm after her meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office at 11.30am today. She arrived here on Wednesday night on her first bilateral visit to demonstrate the importance her government gives to Bangladesh, according to UNB.
