Dhaka Division South scored 294 against Dhaka Metropolis on the first day of a three-day match of the Young Tigers U-18 National Cricket Competition at Sheikh Jamal Stadium in Faridpur on Monday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, Dhaka Division South posted the score for 9 in 90 overs.
Opener Rayan Rafsan scored 93 runs off 151 balls with 17 boundaries while Saikat Hossain added unbeaten 51 runs. Shariar Shuvo and Saif Hasan scored 45 and 46 runs respectively.
Md Santu claimed five wickets for 80 runs in 32 overs.

Shahanur Rahman and Sifat Islam took three wickets each for 16 and 39 runs respectively.
In reply, BKSP opened the first innings and scored 20 runs for no loss in 7 overs at stumps.
Zakir Hasan and Abbas Musa were batting scoring 19 and 1 runs respectively.
