Dhaka Dynamites keep all-win spree, Sultans of Sylhet beat Kings of Khulna

Dhaka Dynamites and Sultans of Sylhet won their respective last league matches of the Destiny Group Nation Cricket League T20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here Saturday, reports UNB.
Dhaka Dynamites, which finished their last league match with all-win run, notched eight-wicket victory over Rajshahai Rangers while Sultans of Sylhet defeated Kings of Khulna by 37 runs.

Batting first after winning the toss, Rajshahi Rangers faced serious batting debacle and scored 83 runs for 7 in stipulated 20 overs.
Number seven batsman Suhrawardy Shuvo contributed 33 runs off 25 balls with two fours, two down Naeem Islam scored 26 runs off 56 balls with one four while Mukter Ali made 15 off 7 balls with two fours.
Former national spinner Mohammad Rafique, pacer Shahadat Hossain Rajib and Mohammad Shahajada took two wickets each for 6, 13 and 14 runs respectively.
In reply, Dhaka Dynamiters easily reached their target of 84 runs in 15 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
After the departure of opener Shamsur Rahman (18) and Jahurul Islam (1), another opener T. Kandambi and two down Mahmudullah Riad took Dhaka Dynamites home with 30 balls to spare.
Kandambi contributed 43 runs off 39 balls with three fours and two sixes while Mahmudullah scored 20 runs off 17 balls with two fours and a six, both remaining unbeaten.
Sanjamaul Islam and Tapash Ghosh took one wicket each for 24 and 26 runs respectively.
Sahadat Hossain of Dhaka Dynamites was adjudged the man of the match.
Sultans of Sylhet vs Kings of Khulna
A blistering opening half century partnership between Gazi Salahuddin and K Weeraratna gave Sultans of Sylhet a flying start after opting to bat first and finally posted a competitive total of 150 for 8 in 20 overs.
Weeraratna scored 47 runs off 32 balls with seven fours and a six while Salahuddin made 42 off 39 balls with five fours and a six, the two openers sharing 86 runs before separation.
Middle order Nazmul Hossain Milon hammered 28 runs off 15 balls with two fours and two sixes while one down Indika de Saram scored run-a-ball 12.
Spinner Abdur Razzak, Shakib Al Hasan and Dollar Mahmud grabbed two wickets each for 19, 29 and 31 runs respectively.
In reply, Kings of Khulna were restricted at 113 for 7 in stipulated 20 overs.
Number five batsman Farhad Hossain scored 26 runs off 34 balls with one four while number six Tushar Imran made 20 off 23 balls with a six.
Besides, opener Imrul Kayes scored run-a-ball 19 with two fours while skipper Shakib Al Hasan made 15 off 19 balls with a four.
Fariduddin Masud claimed three wickets for 16 runs and was later adjudged the player of the match while Saju Datta took two wickets for 20 runs.
Today's (Sunday's) match: Barisal Blazers vs Kings of Khulna 2:20 pm at the same venue.
