Dhaka face Rajshahi in final round today

Defending champions and joint league leader Dhaka Division will take on Rajshahi Division to defend their title in the seventh and final round match of the four-day Walton 16th National Cricket League beginning at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah today (Monday), reports UNB.
The three other final round matches will also begin simultaneously at three separate venues in Dhaka and adjoining areas at 9:30 am today (Monday).
Table topper Khulna Division will play against bottom ranked Chittagong Division on the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) Ground-3 in Savar while another joint league leader Rangpur Division face Dhaka Metropolis on the BKSP ground-2 and Sylhet Division play against Barisal Division at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
After the sixth round matches, Khulna Division earned 96 points to move to the top slot from second place by virtue of net run rate, leapfrogging Rangpur Division (96 points) while Dhaka Division remained in their previous third place, also securing identical 96 points.
Dhaka Metropolis and Rajshahi Division maintained their previous fourth and fifth place respectively with 75 and 66 points.
Meanwhile, Sylhet Division moved to the sixth place (38 points) putting Barisal Division (37 points) down to seventh while Chittagong Division (29 points) remained in the last position of the eight-team battle.
