Dhaka Int'l Edn Fair begins

The fourth 'Dhaka International Education Fair-2008' began Thursday at the city's Bashundhara City Shopping Complex in order to provide students, intending to pursue higher education at home and abroad, with detailed information and instructions under the same roof.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof SMA Faiz inaugurated the fair as the chief guest.
Prof Faiz presented various aspects of the existing education system of the country and urged the student community to come forward to serving the country after being well-acquainted with modern education.
Extreme Exhibition and Event Solution (E3 Solutions) Ltd has organised the fair where at least 50 renowned educational institutions and counseling firms are participating.
E3 Solutions Chairman AZM Fazle Rabbi Khan said students could gather any sort of information from the fair regarding higher education abroad, as representatives from different reputed universities of Bangladesh, Britain, America, Australia, Ireland and many other countries were attending.
The fair will remain open from 10 am to 8 pm everyday. The entry fee at the fair is Tk 10 per head.
