Bangladesh has shown keen interest to share expertise and experience of India in building the proposed Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib International Airport in the country, reports BSS. The interest was shown when visiting India Overseas Affairs and Civil Aviation Minister Vayalar Ravi paid a courtesy call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister G M Quader at the Secretariat in the capital city Thursday. "We would like to share the Indian expertise and experience in establishing airports as they set up several mega airports in their country," G M Quader told the news agency after the meeting. In response to the interest of Bangladesh, Indian Civil Aviation Minister Ravi said India is keen to provide expert and technical support to the Bangladesh government, if Dhaka seeks assistance in this regard. During the meeting, Quader also sought support from his Indian counterpart to give higher training to the country's civil aviation personnel in India. The Indian civil aviation minister assured that he would provide all kinds of support to impart training to the civil aviation personnel of Bangladesh.
