Dhaka, Kolkata in talks to iron out train issues

Dhaka and Kolkata Monday discussed a string of issues to reach a final decision to connect the two neighbouring cities by rail, officials said. “A final decision is likely Tuesday,” additional director general (operations) of Bangladesh Railway Qazi Asadullah told bdnews24.com. The 14 officials who came from India on the train Moitree Sunday held a meeting with Bangladesh officials at Rail Bhaban. They will stay in Dhaka until July 11 to continue discussions to iron out the unresolved issues for the launch of rail links.
