Dhaka, Manila want to boost ties

Newly-appointed Ambassador of the Philippines to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio Tejamo Bandillo on Wednesday met Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and discussed various bilateral issues. During the meeting, both the Foreign Minister and the Ambassador agreed to strengthen the economic ties between the two countries. They also discussed cooperation between the two countries for the shipbuilding industry in Bangladesh, a Foreign Ministry media release said.
