Dhaka might open mission in Khartoum, Bahrain in Dhaka

Bangladesh is considering to open a mission in Sudan, Foreign Affairs Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said Wednesday. "Sudan wants Bangladesh to participate in its economic progress," the Foreign Ministry quoted Sudanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs Elsamani Elwasila Elsamani as saying to Iftekhar at a meeting. The two leaders, now in the Senegalese capital Dakar for the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Conference) summit, had bilateral talks Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bahrain has proposed setting up a diplomatic mission in Dhaka, the Foreign Ministry said. — bdnews24.com
