Dhaka MSC play BJMC in Fed Cup final round opener Monday

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) in a group A opening match in the final round of the Grameenphone Federation Cup that will begin on January 2 (Monday) at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports UNB.
In the day's other final round group A match, Mutijoddha Sangsad KC will play against Cox's City FC at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in city's Kamalapur.
Both the final round opening matches will kick off at 3:00 pm.
The draw of the 16-team final found was held at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) conference room Friday.
BFF President Kazi Salahudddin, Senior Vice President Abdus Salam Murshedy, members Anwarul Huq Helal, Fazlur Rahman Babul and Hasanuzzman Bablu were present.
Final Round - Grouping:
Group A - Muktijoddha SKC, Dhaka Mohammedan SC, BJMC and Cox's City;
Group B - Dhaka Abahani Ltd, Soccer Club Feni, Arambagh KS and Bangladesh Police;
Group C - Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Sheikh Russell KC, Victoria SC and Agrani Bank;
Group D - Brothers Union Club, Farashjganj SC, Rahmatganj MFS and Wari Club.
The champion of the tournament will receive Tk 0.5 million (5 lakh) as prize money while the runners-up team will get Tk 0.3 million.
Besides, the highest scorer and the best player of the tournament will receive Tk 25,000 each.
