Dhaka-Mymensingh rail communication restored

MYMENSINGH, Aug 24 (UNB): Rail communication of the district with Dhaka and other parts of the country has been restored after almost three hours Sunday, following derailment of a passenger train at a railway-crossing of the town.
Mymensingh Railway Police officer-in-charge Abdus Sattar said a bogie of the Dhaka-bound Jamuna Express from Jamalpur veered off the tracks at Mintu College level-crossing around 6:15 am, halting train communications on the route.
Several trains remained stuck on both sides of the place of the incident, causing sufferings to the passengers.
However, the train communication was restored around 9:45 am.
