Dhaka Division registered a six-wicket victory over Sylhet Division in the second four-day match in the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 10th National Cricket League at the Sylhet District Stadium Tuesday, reports UNB.
Chasing 203, Dhaka Division resumed the day with overnight 34 for no loss in 13 overs and easily reached the target scoring 205 runs in 77 overs for the loss of four wickets. The two nightwatch batsmen Javed Omar and Anwar Hossain contributed 73 runs in the opening stand. National discard Javed scored 48 runs off 126 balls with seven fours, while Anwar Hossain made 29 off 154 balls with a boundary.
After the departure of the two openers, one down batsman Shamsur Rahman made 12 off 154 balls with a four and a six.
Mahmudullah and Arafat Sunny left the field confirming Dhaka's triumph with unbeaten 56 runs and 23 runs respectively.
Tapash Ghosh bagged two wickets for 56 runs, while Nazmul Hossain and Nabil Samad took one wicket each for 25 and 54 runs respectively.
Elias Sunny of Dhaka Division was adjudged man of the match for claiming 13 wickets in the match.

In another report, hosts Rajshahi Division earned an innings and 22 runs victory over Chittagong Division in the second round match of the four-day Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 10th National Cricket League on the 4th and final day at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium Tuesday.
Replying to Rajshahi's 1st innings total 438 for 9 (dec.), Chittagong Division, bundled out for 120 in the 1st innings to follow-on, resumed the 2nd innings on the day with 207 for 7 and finally folded the innings at 296 runs in 83.5 overs to suffer a humiliating defeat.
Tail-ender Moktar Ali carried the team total near the 300-mark scoring 40 runs off 57 balls with four fours and two sixes.
Besides, Tariq Ahmed, batting with 49 runs, returned to the pavilion adding just five runs before he was trapped leg before by Suhrawardi Shuvo, who grabbed five wickets for 155 runs. Tariq's 135-ball 54 runs included three boundaries while another night watch batsman Mohammad Younus (1) made 24 off 43 balls with four fours.
Apart from Shuvo's five-wicket haul, Farhad Hossain claimed four wickets for 100 runs.
Anisur Rahman of Rajshahi Division was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant knock of 142 runs.
