Dhaka-Sirajganj train services resume

Train movement on Dhaka-Sirajganj route resumed after suspension for more than half-an-hour following a train derailment near Raipur Railway Station in Sirajganj Sadar Upazila on Wednesday. Sources at the railway station said the engine of Dhaka-bound train ‘Sirajganj Express’ from Sirajganj town veered off the tracks around 10.45am, halting train services on the important rail route. Train services were restored at about 11:30am, according to a news agency.
