Dhaka still in festive mood

The festive feeling of 'Pahela Boishakh' is still there in capital Dhaka as the two-day weekend is followed by the new year's holiday celebrated Thursday, reports bdnews24.com. The city dwellers are passing the second day of Boishakh Friday in a relaxed mood with many visiting amusement parks, Dhaka University campus, Mirpur Zoo and their relatives' houses. Mohammad Masud Alam, a Dhaka University student, told the news agency that he usually meets his friends on Fridays.
