Dhaka take 42-run lead over Barisal, Khulna score 196, Ctg make 128

Dhaka Division took a 42-run lead over Barisal Division on the first day of the four-day 2nd round match of the National Cricket League at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna Wednesday, reports UNB.
Winning the toss, Dhaka Division sent Barisal to bat first and bundled out them for 89 runs in 32.1 overs.
In reply, Dhaka scored 131 for 4 in 42 overs when the stumps were drawn and when Marshall Ayub and Nadif Chowdhury were on the crese with 46 ad 22 runs respectively.
Sent in to bat first at BKSP, Chittagong Division lost five wickets to make 128 runs in 36 overs against holders Rajshahi Division on the first day with Aftab Ahmed in the crease with 34 runs.
At the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra, put in to bat first Khulna Division scored 196 for 3 in 63 overs against Sylhet Division. Tushar Imran was batting with 50 runs.
Start of all three matches of the day was delayed for foggy weather and bad light.
