Dhaka to host high profile Indo-Bangla art exhibition

A high profile exhibition of the art works of some top-notch painters from Bangladesh and India will be held in Dhaka from August 17 to 28, 2008, reports UNB.
The two-week exhibition will provide a unique opportunity for viewers and art connoisseurs of the country to take a look at some 50 paintings put together from across the frontiers of the two neighbouring countries.
Galleri Kaya, a gallery of contemporary art in Dhaka, will organise the event sponsored by United News of Bangladesh (UNB) and Dhaka Courier.
Education and Commerce Adviser Hossain Zillur Rahman will inaugurate the exhibition at Galleri Kaya at 6:00 pm on August 17.
