Dhaka University Day on July 1

The Dhaka University (DU) authorities will observe 'Dhaka University Day' on July 1, reports BSS.
The theme of this year's day is: 'Higher Education for Economic Development and Establishing Social Justice.'
The decision was taken Tuesday at a meeting at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban with DU Vice-chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique presiding, said a press release.
The meeting formed a committee headed by DU Treasurer Prof Dr Kamal Uddin for smooth cerebration of the day.
The committee will chalk out elaborate programmes for 'Dhaka University Day.'
