The Dhaka University Day will be observed on July 1 with great enthusiasm and festivity on the campus, marking the 93rd founding anniversary of the university. The theme of this year’s day is ‘Higher education for economic development and social justice’. The university authorities have already completed all preparations to smoothly observe the day. Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will inaugurate the daylong programme in the morning, according to a news agency.
