Dhaka\\\'s ties with Beijing excellent: PM

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina said on Wednesday Bangladesh has excellent relation with China, a close friend of the country, reports UNB.
Sheikh Hasina made the remarks when Mrs. Yan Junqi, Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of China met her at her official Ganobhaban residence.
PM's Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil briefed the reporters after the meeting.
Hasina recalled the assistance of the Chinese government in various ongoing projects of Bangladesh for ensuring socio-economic development of the country.
She also called for more exchange of visits by parliamentary delegations alongside the government level visits to further strengthen the ties between the two countries.
