DHL to provide air express soln to SIBL

DHL Express Bangladesh Private Limited has signed an agreement with Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) to provide air express solutions to the bank and its customers, said a press release.
DHL Worldwide Express Bangladesh Country Manager Desmond Quiah and SIBL Managing Director KM Ahaduzzaman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies recently.
Under this agreement, SIBL will use DHL Express' services for sending its time-sensitive international documents. DHL's service to the SIBL features automated shipment preparation, pre-scheduled pick ups, new age shipment tracking mechanism and shipment processing at state-of-the-art operational facilities with connectivity to 220 countries across the world.
Desmond Quiah said, "This exclusive agreement gives DHL a further opportunity to cater to the needs of the business enterprises in Bangladesh that are seeking partners like us to help them maintain their reputation for service excellence".
"With a widespread global presence and advanced technological capability, DHL will be providing reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions to the SIBL and its customers, worldwide," he added.
DHL Worldwide Express has been operating in Bangladesh since 1979. Now it is the largest International Air Express Company in Bangladesh, with a fast expanding network of 18 service locations in Bangladesh, supported by more than 40 vehicles and nearly 300 employees.
